This work package is dedicated to the exploitation and disseminations of the project, its progress, and results. As the consortium covers a wide range of expertise and as the project expects a broad impact on educational technology, 80Days aims at a broad dissemination of its intermediate and final results. The specific aims of this work package are to promote knowledge sharing, greater public awareness, transparency, and education. The consortium commits to provide tangible proof that collaborative research not only exists but also pays dividends in terms of academic excellence, industrial competitiveness, employment opportunities and enhanced quality of life for all.
80Days intends to raise public perception of the project and its results by spreading information about the project, its objectives, and outcomes via a variety of international media. Dissemination of research results and technical implementations to relevant stakeholders, commercial partners, and publishers/end users will be realized by a variety of communication channels. Addresses are the EC and its legislative representatives as contractual partners of the project, the international scientific community, and potential end users, publishers, retailers, providers, or educationists.
The main goal for exploitation is to transform the links and channels generated by dissemination activities into a return on investment (ROI) for project partners and the EC. Therefore, intermediate and final results in research have to be exploited to industry and markets. The future exploitation of a research project can hardly be foreseen but with a successful dissemination, the laying of the foundation stone is done. A successful exploitation will build on the dissemination results; consequently this project will use all communication channels (generated by dissemination work) for exploitation purposes.
