Despite being a young event, ECGBL can be considered as one of the most important summits in the area of educational computer games. Michael Kickmeier-Rust (University of Graz) presented 80Days’ ideas, methods, and achievements to the serious games community received tremendous echo. The 3rd ECGBL will be held in Graz, Austria in 2009. The 80Days consortium is planning a special workshop on personalization and adaptation in competitive educational games.
